Elite TeamBuilders

An East/West Approach to Energizing Your Team
Conference Structure

One month prior:  To receive the greatest benefits from the conference is for us to meet with you prior to the meeting to:
1. develop a clear understanding of your priorities,
2. set key objectives for the conference, and
3. establish criteria to measure the success of the conference. We will also assist you in identifying the right people to attend in order to ensure we get the very best thinking of your team.

About two weeks before the conference: Again, to receive maximum benefits we recommend communicating with attendees and asking them to “prepare” for the meeting. We have found that using tools like pre-conference surveys, initial brainstorming thoughts, and SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) allow us to “hit the road running” when we enter the business discussions because the objectives become much more clear.

The conference is generally conducted over two days but can easily be designed to your needs. Each day will include business discussions and some basic martial arts training combined with fun and relaxing events. We will review our event options during our first meeting to ensure that everyone's need are satisfied.  There is canoing immediately across the street, two golf courses within 15 minutes of our facility, and a ropes course within 5 minutes.

Follow up is critical and we recommend that Elite TeamBuilders be involved in that process too. It is easy for assignments and timetables to “fall through the cracks” after the meeting. We find it very helpful to have a neutral person follow up with each team member and consolidate the findings for you. This allows you to focus on your priorities, while, at the same time ensuring that the team is making the kind of progress you are expecting.
